Your Welcome To The Weekend Is Nearly Here.
Hi everyone. On Friday at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2 PM if you live on the East Coast of America, it will be my pleasure to welcome you to the weekend on www.the-bell.net. Broadcasting across the miles from Dublin Town, on the East Coast of Ireland, I’ll have a bucket full of feel good music along with a large helping of friendly banter for you to enjoy. Together we will kiss the working week good by and say hello to the weekend that lies ahead of us. Like chips on a Friday night, our usual features will be in place for you to enjoy, and participate in if you wish for a future show.
Kick-Start. The opening tune of the show that sets us up for the weekend comes from the 1970’s this time. It’s chorus sums up exactly how I feel every Friday.
Double-Take. At the bottom of the first hour, we play two tracks by the one artist, and I tell you a little about the artist I feature. This weekend, Robbie Williams is the main man in this slot. What a career he has had over the last 20 years.
The Irish Connection. Exactly 1 hour later, we hear two tracks by two different Irish artists. This time we hear new material from two bands from Dublin that you’ve heard before on the show. One band in particular sold out a gig in Dublin Castle in less than 3 minutes.
The One That Got Away. Often described as “the best part of the show” by a listener, it’s a track that you don’t often, if ever hear on the radio. By request this weekend we play a track taken from an album released in 1994, that ended up being used as a multi-media sample track on the CD, when Microsoft released Windows 95.
To participate in any of our regular features, to request a tune that makes you feel good this weekend or maybe even just to let me know you’re here, I’d love to hear from you and there is plenty of room for your requests. Contacting the show is easy. You can:

Why not welcome this first weekend of September, with me Brian Dalton, right here on the Bell, the sound of good radio.
Happy Friday everyone!
