The Mosen Explosion: The Winners, The Losers, and the Eagles. #MosenOnAir
It's time once again for another dreadful Mosen Explosion, the show that makes political platitudes look spontaneous.
It's been an absorbing week for people like me who are political junkies. The Scottish referendum was a fascinating process to watch, and here in New Zealand, we've just concluded our national elections.
With any political process, there are winners, which inevitably means there are also losers. So on the show this week, we'll be asking for any suggestions you have for songs about winning, losing, victory, defeat, and keeping your chin up in the face of adversity.
But wait there's more! More I say! I'm always looking for an excuse to feature one of my favourite bands, a band that in fact we'll be seeing in concert next year, the Eagles. And it just so happens that today is Eagles member Don Felder's birthday. Now how fortuitous is this? It means we can open up the Eagles library and get your Eagles requests?
It's all happening along with this day in history, a Bonnie bulletin, and much moreness. It's the Mosen Explosion, the show of last resort that gives you that peaceful easy feeling. People listen, I can't tell you why. Probably because they can check out any time they like, but they can never leave.
It's at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM in the UK. We're right up after Dean here on The Bell.
