The Zone Takes To The Stage
Hello Listeners
I can hardly believe it’s almost time for your weekly dose of The Zone. I would love it if you could join me on Friday at 4 pm eastern, that’s 9 pm in the UK for four hours of fun only on, www.the-bell.net, the only place to be on a Friday night!
This week, I can promise you, all the usual features will be there, Music Madness, Guess the Year and going on the majority vote in last week’s show, the Club Mixes will be back by popular demand.
I’m heading off to the Grand Opera House in Belfast to see Blood Brothers on Saturday and the theme for this week’s Wheel of Fortune is “Musicals”. There are so many brilliant musicals out there and I would love to hear all your suggestions for the wheel. Once you’ve sent them in, I will queue them up, then it’s up to the computer to decide what gets played. Don’t worry if your song doesn’t get played because the jukebox is filled with music in “Cosgrove’s Cronies” pub in the third hour so we can definitely get your requests on there.
There are two wonderful artists celebrating a Birthday on Friday, Brian Ferry and Olivia Newton-John so I would love to hear all your Brian Ferry/Roxy Music and Olivia tracks. I have got plenty in the play list already but I know you will do what you normally do, completely take over the play list!
