D'ya Wana Hear My Guitar
Hello Listeners
It’s almost time for your weekly dose of The Zone on www.the-bell.net, the fun and madness begins on Friday at 9 pm UK, that’s 4 pm eastern and I would love to have your company.
You can expect to hear the usual features, the Music Madness quiz, Guess the Year competition, the Club Mixes and the Love Zone. Don’t forget, you are very welcome to drop into “Cosgrove’s Cronies” pub in the third hour, the big massive jukebox is ready to play all your requests. As the pub is only licenced for an hour, you’ll need to get your requests in pretty quickly if you want to hear them.
The theme for the Wheel of Fortune this week is “Guitar”. Just think of all those amazing solos and riffs, there are so many of them and I know, you will have no trouble in picking your favourites. The only thing is, will the wheel pick them or will you be left totally gutted that all that air guitar playing was a complete waste of time? I will let you into a wee secret .. if by the time we get into the pub and the wheel hasn’t picked your request, I am pretty sure the jukebox will play it for you so there is no need to panic.
Daryl Hall is celebrating his birthday on Saturday 11 October and David Lee Roth has his birthday on Friday 10 October (how very fitting with the theme). I have already got plenty of their songs in the play list but how about adding some of your own, or, do what you all do best and completely take over my play list!
