The Music Machine is Back!
Hi everyone
After quite a break, I am now back every Saturday on The Bell for the Music Machine!
www.the-bell.net
although quite whether you’ll be pleased about that given what I am about to write, I don’t know, (smile). But I am really looking forward to being back with you again.
This week, we have one of our annual specials, the World’s Worst Records. For some reason, many of you seem to enjoy these!
Last year, we discovered appalling musical creations by none other than Paul Mccartney, David Essex and many others. This time given I’ve been running this for a few years, I’m going to play the best of the worst, in other words, the really awful songs which have been released which we have discovered in the past.
But you’ll also hear how some of these horrors have been put together, or more importantly, why!
Some artists and groups have recorded songs which have scored high on the chart, and you just cannot understand why, given they are so badly sung or which have terrible lyrics. Many such artists have had another shot. Were their second efforts any better? The answer is invariably no, much worse.
But do you know of a song wwhich you think should never, ever, have been released! Do tell me about it. I need to know! Do email brian@the-bell.net or tweet @brianhartgen.
If you dare, I’ll see you Saturday on the Bell, 7 PM UK, 2 PM Eastern!

Best wishes:
Brian
