You’re Welcome To The Weekend
Hi everybody.
I hope you’ve all had a good week? On Friday at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK or 2 PM Eastern, it will be time for me Brian D to bring the first week of November to a close and Welcome You To The Weekend. The place to be is www.the-bell.net for the best of feel good music, along with lots of friendly banter, live from Dublin Town on the East Coast of Ireland. I promise to wipe away the stress of the busy week, and leave you feeling fully charged and ready for the weekend ahead no matter what your plans are. All our regular features are here for you to enjoy:
Kick-Start. The opening track of the show is the pace setter for the weekend ahead. This week we hear from a band who played a gig in Dublin on 7th November 1963, who definitely had an influence on popular music.
Double-Take. At the bottom of the first hour, we hear two tracks from the one artist. This time we feature the Script. A Dublin band, who will take to the stage in their home city in June of next year.
The Irish Connection. Exactly one hour later, I will expose you to two tracks by two different Irish Artists. This weekend both artists have a birthday to celebrate.
The One That Got AWAY. This special feature is dedicated to a track that you don’t often hear on the radio. This week we take a track from an album released in 1985, from a gentleman we lost this month 23 years ago.
There is as always, plenty of room for your requests and I’d love to hear your suggestions for a tune that would make you feel good this weekend. To contact me during the show or before, you can:

The Weekend starts right here on the Bell, the sound of good radio. Happy Friday everyone!
