Down for Double Has Gate Crashed the Zone!

Hi everyone

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

This week, at 9 PM UK, 4 PM Eastern, Anne is unable to bring you the Zone. But we’ve hijacked it. We’re gate crashing the Zone and we’ll be along with Down for Double!

Now Anne has all these cool features like Guess the Year, the Music Madness quiz and Spin the Wheel. The wheel is particularly good. We spared no expense at the Bell and when Anne joined us, we bought a wheel for her, full of the latest electronic gadgetry, able to choose a request at random. Now, we’re part of so-called Management at the Bell, and we don’t have a wheel, all we have is a pile of cardboard boxes, the leftovers from the Christmas gifts. Well, it is Boxing Day isn’t it? So if you choose a song in our theme, we’ll open a box at random and see if your request is there.

The theme? Songs you would take to a 70’s or 80’s party. Disco? New Wave? Electronic? Love? Do send your suggestions to brian@the-bell.net or tweet @lulu_bear.

We’ll also be talking about Christmas day, maybe the Boxing Day sales (as we are looking for something), and anything else which comes to mind!
