The Radio Caroline Story Continues!

Hi everyone

I hope you will be able to tune into the Bell this Saturday at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK, as we continue with the Radio Caroline story, on www.the-bell.net.

Last week we learned that Radio Caroline began broadcasting in 1964 and how it helped to bring all day music radio to Britain.

We pick it up again just after 14 August 1967 and there is high drama to come over the 2 hours. As well as discovering how the station’s music format evolved over the years, you’ll hear about arguments on the high seas, storms, rescues and of course the sinking of the original Caroline ship in 1980. And where does Loving Awareness fit in? I’ll tell you that too. Plus, you’ll hear memories of the people who were on board at some point during the 50 years together with those who heard the station during that time.
