Get out those Anne Murray, Guess Who and Gordon Lightfoot records. Join us in cracking open a premium bottle of maple syrup, and even if you're going to be oat and aboat, take your mobile device with you, eh? Because we're making history on this week's Mosen Explosion.
Over the last nearly 16 years, we've broadcast from a few places, and we've had New Zealand guests in the studio from time to time. But never before in all this time have we had a listener from overseas co-host the show, and a long-time listener at that.
Those of you who've listened to the show over the years will have heard Steve Cutway's name many times. He and his wife Nancy are cruising the world at the moment, and as luck would have it, their boat is oat and aboat in Wellington on the very day a Mosen Explosion is going to air. That's worthy of a celebratory cup of syrup right there!
So I hope you'll join me as we get Steve, and maybe Nancy as well, in the studio at Mosen Towers for what promises to be a fun show.
There's wacky news in the mix as well, a look back at this day in history, a very sad one in New Zealand history in fact, Bonnie will be here with her bulletin, and Heidi is back to start her university year, so as you can hear, it's a packed show.
Oh and for all our English listeners, I promise to be gentle with you after the cricket. We've been where you are before and I have no doubt we will be again.
