Are you blind? Are you square? Then you will not want to miss this Sunday's Mosen Explosion, heard right here on the bell. It's the show where it’s hip to be square!
BlindSquare 2.0, the affordable, powerful navigation iOS app designed for VoiceOver users, just hit the App Store. It’s taking the world by storm and is already being used in more than 60 countries. Bonnie and I use this app whenever we’re mobile and we love it. 2.0 has some cool new features, including a really nifty way to control the app from the remote control of your earbuds, so you don’t even need to hold the phone. It’s now easy to share your location with others, you can get weather conditions from right within the app, and much more. And you know what’s rockin’ awesome? On the show this week, I have three copies of BlindSquare to give away to three lucky listeners.
“So how are you going to give them away,” I hear you cry. “how?”? Well it’s like this you see. There are four hours on the Mosen Explosion. In each of the first three hours, we’re going to be running a competition. The three competitions are quite different from one another, so hopefully, there’ll be a way to win that you find fun and easy.
You can enter all three competitions if you like, but we ask that you limit your creativity to one entry per competition please.
During the fourth hour, we’ll be announcing the winners of all three competitions, so you’ll want to hang in there right to the end of the show to see if you won. Cunning, eh?
If you already have BlindSquare, or your eyes are doing the navigating for you, never fear, there’s plenty of other excitement on this week’s show. The birthday book is packed with goodness, and we’re featuring the music of George Jones and Albert Hammond, both of whom are blowing out candles today.
But no other birthday comes remotely close to the big one we celebrate on this week’s show. She’s 18 on the 18th! It doesn’t seem possible that 18 years have gone by, but Heidi banana is celebrating a milestone birthday today. We’ll here a bit of Heidi, past and present, on this week’s banana report. We may even cajole Henry the boyfriend to talk as well.
The wacky news is back, making us realise how mundane our lives are. We’ll take you back to this day in history, and of course the wonderful Bonnie is here with another Bonnie bulletin.
