It’s Almost Time For Welcome To The Weekend
Hi everyone. On Friday at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK or 2 PM Eastern, it will be time for me, Brian Dalton, to knock the working week on the head and Welcome You To The Weekend. The place to be for feel good music and friendly banter is www.the-bell.net, where I will play a tune that makes you feel absolutely wonderful. Along with a feast of toe tapping tunes, I will have all the regular features for you to enjoy such as:
Kick-Start. This opening tune of the show will set you on the right path for the weekend ahead. This week we feature a tune from a band who will play 3 nights in Dublin town, where this show is broadcast from.
Double-Take. At half past the first hour of the show I play two tracks by the one artist, as well as giving you a short bio about the artist featured. This week it’s the turn of Avril Lavigne.
The Irish Connection. At half past the second hour we hear two tracks from two different Irish artists. This time you will hear a track from the brother of Christy Moore, as well as a track from a successful songwriter who has written songs for Boyzone and Ronan Keating.
The One That Got Away. This slot is totally given over to a track that you don’t often hear on the radio. It could either be a forgotten single or an album track. This week I play a track that was released as a pop single in 2006, which got very little airplay.
There is always room for your requests, if you’d like to hear a tune this weekend or suggest anything in the future for our features. Perhaps you would like to share your plans for how you intend to relax this weekend? Your interaction is most welcome. You can:

I look forward to hearing from you.
Where ever you are in the world, why not begin your weekend right here on the Bell, the sound of good radio. Happy Friday everyone!!!
