What a fun show it was last week with plenty of you tuning in, not to mention the wonderful interaction. Even days after the show, I am still getting emails and notice that a good lot of you have listened back on MixCloud so I thank you all so much for this.
The Zone will be back at the same time tomorrow, 4 pm eastern, that’s 9 pm in the UK only on, www.the-bell.net. I would love you to join me for three hours of fun!
The usual features are all here, Music Madness quiz with four multiple choice answers, Guess the Year competition and the very famous, Wheel of Fortune. If you are bursting to take part in this great feature this week, the theme is…. “Cheese”. I had a request from a listener last week asking me to play something cheesy so I thought I would get you all involved. What are the most cheesiest of songs on your list from the very mild cheddar to the most horrible Pont L’Eveque? OK, the latter apparently is a very tasty cheese but it smells like a pair of old socks. Don’t think I’ll ever try it somehow! Oh where was I? Oh yes, send all your cheesy requests to me and I will put them in the queue and let the computer decide whether to play them or not. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!!!!
There are a few musical artists celebrating their birthday this week but I have decided to feature Richie Sambora, the former member of Bon Jovi. I would love to hear all your Bon Jovi suggestions.
As always, this does sound pretty packed to you and is three hours ever long enough??? Well, it can be done in three hours, why is that? The Zone is all about you, yes you, the listener and there is nothing I like more than to play your requests, Cheesy, Bon Jovi or anything else you feel like hearing.
