It's Almost Friday and That Means It's Time for The Zone!

Hi All

I would love it if you could join me tomorrow at 4 pm eastern, that’s 9 pm in the UK for your weekly dose of The Zone only on, www.the-bell.net.

You can hear the usual features, Music Madness quiz and the Guess the Year competition. The famous Wheel of Fortune is also making an appearance thanks to the listeners who voted to keep it going in last week’s show. The theme for the Wheel of Fortune this week is “People’s Names”. I’m looking for all those songs with people’s names in the title. I can think of a lot of female ones but not too many male ones so I want to see you doing much better than me. The computer will decide whether to play your song or not and if you are lucky enough to hear your song, you get a point. With the Music Madness quiz, the Guess the Year competition and the Wheel of Fortune, there is plenty of opportunity for you to gather up the points and be a winner in The Zone.

Brian May is celebrating his birthday on Saturday 19 July so I will be featuring some of his solo tracks but I’m sure Queen will be more popular and there is always room for Queen in the play list.

The Garth Brooks saga continues, actually .. it has ended now and I will tell you all about that at some point during the show, ZZZZZ oh and, where was I? Oh that’s right ….

To be a part of The Zone couldn’t be easier, all you have to do is tune in at 4 pm eastern, 9 pm in the UK and let me know you are there. Send me all your “People’s Names” songs for the Wheel of Fortune, request your Brian May or Queen tracks and as well as that, request whatever you feel like hearing, anything at all, providing I have the song of course. I have requests left over from last week so if you really want to hear your requested song, you know where you should be!
