Crossing the Irish Sea in The Zone on Friday
Hi All
I can hardly believe it’s almost Friday already. You can get in The Zone with me tomorrow at 4 pm eastern, that’s 9 pm in the UK only on, www.the-bell.net.
All the usual features will be there for you to enjoy, Music Madness, Guess the Year and the Wheel of Fortune.
You may or may not be aware of a certain sporting event that is taking place in wee Bonnie Scotland. Last night saw the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games at Celtic Park in Glasgow. There were great artists there, Rod Stewart, Amy MacDonald, Susan Boyle … oops, sorry, that was a typo, I did say great artists! Anyway, it was a great ceremony and even the Queen was there! That is, The Queen, not the band! She very nearly didn’t get to read her message which was inside the baton, they had great difficulty getting the thing opened. One was very amused! Anyway, since Scotland have brought us many musical artists, Scottish musicians is the theme for the Wheel of Fortune this week. There are loads of fantastic artist and bands, Annie Lennox, Runrig, Simple Minds, the Proclaimers and the list goes on and on and on! I would really love to hear your suggestions.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous recently and I would also love to hear all your sunshine or Summer songs, between you all, we can come up with a wonderful play list!
To be a part of The Zone, email, anne@the-bell.net or Tweet, @irish_2009
Get your kilts on, have a wee feast on, Haggis, Scotch Eggs and have a wee drop of Whisky too!
I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow for three hours of FUN!
