The Bell, Working in Partnership for MacMillan Week
Hi everyone
Cancer is a terrible disease, but sadly, many of us know someone who has suffered with it, maybe a family member has it, or we have a friend or relative who is one of the carers in this field who do extremely valuable work. Even if that isn’t you, we hope that you’ll join The Bell and many other radio stations on the internet as they work in partnership with Top Tunes FM, community spirit at its best.
Top Tunes are holding their MacMillan week, with a range of special shows, prize giveaways and of course, raising money is the focal point of the event!
It is obvious to any outsider that this is no token gesture to gain publicity. The owners of Top Tunes, Dean and Becs, have done an impressive amount of outstanding work in organising the MacMillan Week event. There’s stacks of entertainment to keep you locked in. It’ll be fun while raising money for a worthwhile cause.
The target to reach is £2000. Half of that money has already been raised. If collectively we can exceed the target that will be awesome! Details of how to take part in the raffle, or to donate, will be given during the shows.
As part of the week, The Bell will be relaying a number of the shows heard on the station. You’ll still be able to enjoy all the good music which is usually part of the Bell, however there will be some additional shows to vary the entertainment, as follows, beginning Monday 18 August. UK times are given first.
Monday12pm 7am Eastern: Dean and Becs, The Opener.
Tuesday9pm 4pm Eastern: Anne Cosgrove & Danny Miles, The Noughty Zone.
Tuesday 11pm 6pm Eastern: Kaz, Hot Summer Nights.

We hope you will find time to listen and donate to this worthwhile cause! The webpage for the event is here:
