Hi everyone
As well as a new presenter Dean Ormond joining us on the Bell this weekend, we’re really pleased to say we have another special show too!
Lulu and I will be on The Bell this Sunday at 2 PM UK, 9 AM Eastern, doing the 80’s, 90’s and Now thing. We did the Country Thing a couple of weeks ago and people seemed to enjoy it!
We’ll play a good mixture of music from the 80’s onward, and of course we’d love to take your song requests too! We’re sure there will be the usual mixture of friendly banter to go along with the mix!

Hi everyone
I hope you can join me for another edition of the Music Machine, Saturday, 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK, on www.the-bell.net.
This week I thought we would take a break from the themed shows and we’ll have a box of delights where pretty much anything goes! So if there’s an oldie you would like to hear, or something more modern, do let me know. I’m fairly confident we’ll have it! As usual, I will tell you about some of the songs I’m playing as I go.

25 years ago this past Monday, a national commercial radio station was born. With millions of listeners every day in Europe, Atlantic 252 came from Ireland. In fact it was from a little place called County Meath, with a population of 5 thousand people, it has 26 pubs, and was made famous by the movie Brave Heart.
But Mornington House in County Meath was the home of Atlantic 252. Its format predominantly focused upon chart music of the late 80's and 90's and was broadcast on longwave.

Hi everyone
If you’re into country music, do join Lulu today at 3 PM UK, 10 AM Eastern, for some fantastic American country greats!
There’s plenty of classic and modern feel-good country, from the likes of Jason Aldean, George Jones, Faith Hill, Taylor Swift, Buck Owens, Kellie Pickler and many many more. It’s been a while since Lulu has produced a country show, and she’s really looking forward to this one!
Country requests are very welcome. Contact details will be given during the show!

Hi everyone
This Saturday at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK, I’ll be back on the Bell with another edition of the Music Machine:
www.the-bell.net.
This week, thanks to a listener’s suggestion, all the songs I’ll play have fantastic saxophone solo sections. Baker’s Street is a very obvious choice where this occurs, but there must be lots of pop songs with a sax solo! I’ve found plenty of them, but maybe you could suggest one or two?

Hi everyone
We had great fun last night with our show, A Night to Remember, raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
But, as with a number of parties, we have leftovers. So we’d love it if you could join us again this evening for 2 hours at 7 PM UK, 2 PM Eastern, at www.the-bell.net.

Hi everyone
I hope you’ll be able to join Lulu and I for a Night to Remember on www.the-bell.net, and Top Tunes FM, as we have 4 hours of pure nostalgia. Music and memories from the 70’s and 80’s coming your way from 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK today.
As well as all that, a prize from the raffle to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support will be drawn!
We’re really looking forward to going back in time to the best two decades, the 70’s and 80’s! When we produce a show, there’s always plenty to talk about and memories to share.

Hi everyone
Cancer is a terrible disease, but sadly, many of us know someone who has suffered with it, maybe a family member has it, or we have a friend or relative who is one of the carers in this field who do extremely valuable work. Even if that isn’t you, we hope that you’ll join The Bell and many other radio stations on the internet as they work in partnership with Top Tunes FM, community spirit at its best.
Top Tunes are holding their MacMillan week, with a range of special shows, prize giveaways and of course, raising money is the focal point of the event!

Hi everyone
Well this Saturday, I’m back after a break with another edition of the Music Machine.
This week, it’s all about the weather. In Britain, we seem to be particularly fond of talking about it when there’s nothing else to say, and this week, we’ll celebrate it musically. So I’m wanting suggestions of songs about the weather or conditions, rain, snow, sun, anything at all relating to the weather please!
You can send suggestions by email now to brian@the-bell.net, or tweet @brianhartgen.

Hi everyone
We apologise, but there will not be a Music Machine show for the next two weeks. For those of you who missed the Radio Caroline story, we will replay part 1 tomorrow and part 2 next Saturday, the 9th of August. I will definitely be back on the 16th.
There is some good news. On 22 August, Friday, Lulu and I will be presenting a special nostalgia show, A Night to Remember. It will be a lively show full of great music and memories, we hope you’re going to love it!
