Hi everyone
Well after a busy week I’m very much looking forward to being back on the air tomorrow with the Music Machine, Saturday, 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK.
Johnny Nash said there were more questions than answers, and he’s right. But we’re just concerned with three questions in this week’s show. What? Why? Who?

Hi everyone
Due to other commitments I am unable to produce the Music Machine today, so Lulu has generously offered to host a show at 7 PM UK, 2 PM Eastern, “Lovin’ it Live”.
As the name suggests, she’ll be playing some of the world’s finest love songs, perhaps to get you in the mood for a romantic evening or maybe even a meal out somewhere with that special person in your life. All the songs will be gorgeous and romance will definitely be in the air.

Not long ago, the viral hit single by Ylvis – entitled The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?) – was everywhere I turned. I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't think it was that funny. I bring this up because this track in particular is a most recent incarnation of a type of song that I very much enjoy, the novelty song.

Hi everyone
I hope you will be able to tune into the Bell this Saturday at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK, as we continue with the Radio Caroline story, on www.the-bell.net.
Last week we learned that Radio Caroline began broadcasting in 1964 and how it helped to bring all day music radio to Britain.

On 28 March 2014, the most enduring and well-known pirate radio station, Radio Caroline, celebrated its 50th birthday. For the next two weeks, the Music Machine heard on the Bell, www.the-bell.net, will ensure this famous lady celebrates her birthday in style!
Founded in 1964 by Ronan O'Rahilly to circumvent the record companies' control of popular music broadcasting in the United Kingdom and the BBC's radio monopoly, Caroline was a pirate radio station which only became formally illegal in 1967.

Hi everyone
We were very disappointed that the popular internet radio station Team-FM closed, and two of us felt that we wanted to continue to produce weekly programmes without the added pressures of managing a full internet radio station. To that end, we are very pleased to welcome you to the Bell!
The Bell is a small platform to host (at the moment) two radio shows which people have come to enjoy. These are Welcome to the Weekend with Brian Dalton and the Music Machine hosted by Brian Hartgen. We look forward to bringing these shows to you soon!
