Well, never fear ... your weekly dose is almost here.
With this week seeing the annual airing of the BBC's Children In Need telethon that raises money for disabled and disadvantaged minors, I'll be playing this year's charity single and many of those that have come before. I'd also love to get your thoughts on the shows, songs and other activities that surround charities like Children In Need and Comic Relief.

Hi everyone!
We all love a bit of shopping, whether it’s going to the local mal or shopping centre, or maybe virtually online. We love to see what new products are in the stores. But can you think of any songs about shopping? Maybe you know a song with shopping in its title, about a supermarket, or a grocery store? Which products would you like to spend your money on? How about songs about food or products to buy from the shops?

Hi guys
Firstly thanks to Danny Miles for sitting on the sofa for me last week, he did a very good job!!
When was the last time you used a public bathroom / rest room? An interesting survey has come out revealing some very interesting habits...
Also this week the Metropolitan police have called for the government to introduce I.D. cards as they are struggling with all the foreign people coming to the UK. Would you be happy to carry an I.D. card?

Yes that’s right. At 2 PM UK, 9 AM Eastern, we’ll be here with an edition of Down for Double!
As well as being a special show, we’ll have lively chat, memories and music from the 60’s through to the 80’s. There’s a particular reason why we’re including the 60’s this time, and we’ll get to that during the show.
Do join us if you can! You can get in touch during the show by writing to brian@the-bell.net or tweet @lulu_bear on Twitter.

After a wee break, I'm back with you for another four hours of explosive fun. And all the time zones have now settled into their new slots for another few months, which means I get to start my show at 8 AM my time. How positively civilised is this?
Here in New Zealand, we still keep the rather bizarre tradition, inherited from England, where we commemorate or celebrate the failed gun powder plot of 5 November. This is the time of year where we let off plenty of fireworks. This year, we could even get fireworks delivered with the pizza!
