Noughty Nineties!
Whether you think the weekend is for letting go of weekday worries or embracing the randomness of the world, you’ll find something to your liking on Noughty Nineties. My name is Danny Miles, and every week I’ll bring you a show teeming with talk from the worlds of lifestyle, culture and much more besides, as well as the finest tracks from the nineties, noughties and now.
With my passion for learning new things and creating the worst one-liners on radio, you’d think that features on my show might expose you to untapped or bizarre facets of culture … and you’d be very wise to make that assumption. I’m always coming up with new ideas and I’d love to receive your suggestions too, but regular elements of the show will include:
- Unsung Albums: Every week I’ll play tracks from three different albums, each recorded in a separate year, which all failed to make the UK Album Chart’s top 10 in the week of the show in question.
- Top Talent: I’ll regularly introduce you to lesser-known work by, and interviews with people who are active in, the realms of music, fiction, poetry and many other walks of creative expression.
