Your Welcome To The Weekend.

Hi everyone. We’re almost at the end of another working week, doesn’t time fly when your having fun. When the end of the week comes, that means only one thing. On Friday at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2 PM Eastern it will be my pleasure to Welcome You To The Weekend on www.the-bell.net. Fun is the key, and in this 2 hour show, we will have lots of fun and entertainment. The usual mix of feel good music on a Friday, blended with friendly banter will be here to bring your week to an end.

Like a late bar on a Friday night, our regular features will be in place for your entertainment, which you are most welcome to make suggestions for at any time for a future show.

Kick-Start. To get our weekend on track, we here a tune that sets the pace for the two days that lie ahead of us. This week we hear an up beat feel good number from a lady from California who has an important message for us this weekend.

Double-Take. At the bottom of the first hour, we hear two tracks by the one Artist. This week we hear from a popular female who had most of her success in the 1980’s, and who has a very different career now. Kim Wild, is the artist this weekend.

The Irish Connection. 1 hour later, we take two tracks from two different Irish Artists. This weekend it’s the ladies that get this honour.

The One That Got Away. In this feature we hear something that gets very little if any radio airplay. This week we hear a new tune from a lady that has been around for more years than I care to remember but who has just released her new album. She is certainly vintage material.
