Starting The Weekend.

Hi everyone. Whatever it is that you have planned to do this weekend, I’d love it if you could begin it with me, Brian D on Friday at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2 PM if you live on the East Coast of America. In fact, your welcome to tune in where ever you are in the world. The place to be is www.the-bell.net.

Broadcasting live from Dublin Town on the East Coast of Ireland, I will have a large stash of feel good music and up beat tunes along with a helping of friendly banter to start your weekend off on the right track. Similar to the high stool on a Friday night, all our regular features will be in place for you to enjoy.

Kick-Start. Like a hot breakfast on a winters morning, this opening tune sets you up for the weekend ahead. This time we hear a movie track originally recorded in 1963, but was re-mixed in 2012.

Double-Take. At the bottom of the first hour, we play two tracks by the one artist. This weekend we hear two tracks from the band Train. It will not be the last Train you will hear on the show.

The Irish Connection. Ireland may be a small country, but it is blessed by a great deal of talented singers and musicians. In this feature we hear two tracks by two different Irish artists. This weekend both tracks have a theme of drinking flowing through them.

The One That Got Away. Especially dedicated to a track that is not often heard on the radio. Covered over by layers of time, we drag it out into the light and give it a spin. This time out we hear a single released in 1983 that talks about waiting for a Train.
