Extra Time In The Zone!
Hi All
The subject sounds to me like a football match but we’ve certainly had enough of the World Cup to last another four years! Actually, the normal football will be commencing very soon … ZZZZZ, oh, where was I? Oh yes, extra time, that’s the one!
As you will all know, The Zone has been a part of your Friday night since the beginning of April and week after week, we run out of time. I sent you all an email asking you if you would like to stay in The Zone for as long as possible and your response has been unbelievable. It is with great pleasure, The Zone will be there for you for not three hours, but four! You can join in on all the fun and the madness on Friday at 4 pm eastern, that’s 9 pm in the UK right through until 8 pm eastern, 1 am in the UK only on, www.the-bell.net.
All the usual features will be there and because of the extra time, there will be more multiple choice questions for you in the Music Madness quiz and a brand new question as well. You will have more chances to gather up those points in an extra Guess the Year. The famous Wheel of Fortune has not changed a bit and this week, the theme is all about “Time”. You can have “Time” or “Times” in the title. Also, clocks, clock, o’clock, am, pm, hour, hours, minute, minutes, second, seconds. There are thousands of songs we could use for this and I am looking forward to hearing all your suggestions.
David Howell Evans (otherwise known as The Edge) has a birthday on 8 August so I am looking for all your U2 requests. An amazing singer we lost two years ago is Whitney Houston and her birthday would have been on 9 August so I would love to hear all your Whitney requests as well.
